Dr. Caroline Vaughn

Dr. Vaughn is a board-certified dermatologist who practices general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology and cares for patients of all ages. She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and pursued her undergraduate training at the University of Texas at Austin. She obtained a Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biology with High Honors. She then attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and graduated cum laude. After graduation, she completed an internship at the AMITA Health Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. She then returned to Galveston and completed dermatology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch. During residency, she served as chief resident and received comprehensive training in a broad range of dermatologic conditions and procedures.

Dr. Vaughn is dedicated to providing evidence-based care to her patients. She has particular interests in acne, pigmentary disorders, skin cancer screening and prevention, psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and atopic dermatitis. Dr. Vaughn is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Texas Dermatological Society, and Texas Medical Association.

Outside of work, Dr. Vaughn enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, traveling, reading, spending time outdoors whether hiking or snow skiing, and trying new restaurants.
